Summary: This is a luxury stay in a nice neighborhood. Although it’s not in the center of the most popular spots, it’s nice to get away and be more local. Our favorite bar and restaurant in our two week Japan trip were a result of staying at Merbabu. Some of the functions of the lighting and tub were difficult because the instructions were not clear, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
